Division of labour; a friend of Sir Wilfrid's; Here's to the milk-maid'; a railway signal woman; The Tourists nuisance; The Centre of Attraction...Our Comic Artist has filled a page, appropriately to the season of the Tourist Abroad, which is also notoriously the Silly Season both abroad and home, with his fantastic Sketches of various native and foreign human oddities, supposed to be met with on the opposite shore of the Channel. The costumes of the Norman country folk...are certainly picturesque; and there is a pretty gracefulness in the figure of the girl on her laden donkey, whom two members of the Silly Tourist Club, alighting from their preposterous bicycles, have unwarrantly begun to tease with the awkward gallantry of their kind. Milk from her barrel, or some innocent liquid from the store that a friend of Sir Wilfrid carries at his back, may be safely recommended in preference to the cider of Normandy...[There is also] the wonderful house architecture of mixed masonry and timber framework, with its high gabled roofs and overhanging top floors...Ladies and gentlemen of our nation...should beware of presenting a singular appearance...The Comic Artist has hit eye upon them'. Wood effect frame, card mounted, 10x8 fade resistant photo print. Overall outside dimensions 14x12 inches (36x31cm). Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang. Biodegradable and made with non-chlorinated gases (no toxic fumes) it is efficient; producing 100 tons of polystyrene can save 300 tons of trees! Prints are glazed with lightweight, shatterproof, optical clarity acrylic (providing the same general protection from the environment as glass). The back is stapled hardboard with a sawtooth hanger attached. Note: measurements provided are estimated outer dimensions, which include both the image and the frame. While we aim to keep sizing consistent, exact dimensions may vary slightly due to differences in print size or production requirements, which may result in a variation in the overall size (up to approximately 2.5cm (1"))
