Matthew Boulton, English manufacturer and engineer, c1880. Works owner Matthew Boulton (1728-1809) and Scottish engineer and inventor James Watt (1736-1819) formed a partnership in 1773 to produce steam engines. Boultons factory at Soho, near Birmingham, produced the first of the revolutionary steam engines designed by Watt. By the early 19th century over 500 Boulton and Watt engines were being used in Britains mines and factories. 12"x10" Modern Frame

10x8 Print in an MDF Wooden Frame with 180 gsm Satin Finish Paper. Glazed using shatter proof thin plexi glass. Frame thickness is 1 inch and depth 0.75 inch. Fluted cardboard backing held with clips. Supplied ready to hang with sawtooth hanger and rubber bumpers. Spot clean with a damp cloth. Packaged foam wrapped in a card.
