Cunard Line, In Mid-Atlantic, c1900. The RMS Campania ocean liner had her maiden voyage in 1893, from Liverpool to New York. She was the largest and fastest passenger liner afloat, and crossed the Atlantic in less than six days. On her second voyage she won the prestigious Blue Riband. During the First World War she was converted into an armed merchant cruiser that could carry seaplanes, but sank after an accident in 1918. Postcard
