Silver bowl tennis trophy presented to Sally Ride, 1965. This silver trophy bowl was awarded to Dr. Sally K. Ride in 1965, recognizing her second place finish in a tennis tournament in central California when she was fourteen years old. Ride took her first tennis lesson in 1961, and she quickly became a talented and dedicated player. She entered the private Westlake School for Girls in 1965 on a partial tennis scholarship and also went on to become a nationally-ranked tennis player as an undergraduate at Swarthmore College and Stanford University. She briefly considered becoming a professional player, but decided to concentrate on a career in science instead. She became the first American woman in space when she flew aboard STS-7 in 1983

Omega Psi Phi Colonel Charles E. Young Service medal and bracelet, 1934; 1978
Henrietta Bell Wells (1912-2008) was the first female member of the debate team at historically black Wiley College in Texas. A gold chain bracelet with two charms. One of the charms, made ca. 1934, was awarded to Henrietta Bell Wells. It has a cross emblem in the middle surrounded with a wreath around the edges, with etched text on the cross. One side has Greek letters at the top and the following text: [Col. / Chas. E Young / Service / Award / 34]. The other side has [HB] etched in elaborate type on one side with the back of the wreath like motif around the edge. The other charm is circular, gold Bojar charm with [78] in relief with etched text: [12K G F / BOJAR] on one side, and [DSJ] in elaborate script on the other side, with a rope like spiral around the edges, on both sides. The chain is made of interlocking loops, with a fold-over clasp. There is a smaller chain connected to both ends of the clasp, made of smaller interlocking loops. The chain is a Monet chain

Silver vase presented to Sir R. Sale, 1845. This handsome piece of plate has just been presented by the Corporation of London to Sir Robert Sale, in approval of his distinguished services in India. The vase was manufactured by Messrs. Makepeace and Walford...'. Engraved on it is:the Resolution of the Court of Common Council, held December 12, 1844, by which this Vase has been presented, together with the freedom of the City, "To Major-General Sir Robert Henry Sale, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, as a testimony of the admiration entertained by this court...of the many distinguished military services rendered by him in India, and particularly in his arduous and successful operations in the defence of Jellalabad, by which he contributed to uphold the...security of the British dominion in India, and the honour ot the British Empire"'.
