RMS Olympic, White Star Line ocean liner, 1911-1912. Artist: FGO Stuart

RMS Olympic, White Star Line ocean liner, 1911-1912. Launched in 1910, Olympic was the first of her class of ocean liners built for the White Star Line, which also included the ill-fated liners Titanic and Britannic. Unlike her sisters, Olympic served a long and illustrious career (1911 to 1935), and came to be known as Old Reliable. From Penroses Pictorial Annual 1911-1912, The Process Year Book, volume 17, edited by William Gamble and published by AW Penrose (London, 1911-1912). (Colorised black and white print)
