Niccolo Tartaglia, Italian mathematician and mechanician, 1550s
Niccolo Tartaglia, Italian mathematician and mechanician, 1550s. Among the finest achievements of Tartaglia is his 1556 publication Trattato Generale, considered the best mathematical compilation of its time.
