Male dress, 16th century, (1910). Example of mens dress showing the hanging sleeve. He is armed with sword and buckler (shield). His flat cap hangs upon his shoulder by a cord. The body of the doublet is slashed - the skirt shows an attempt at pleating. A 19th-century copy taken from from Henry VIIIs Great Bible.
