The Lions Head at Button s. (1881). Letter box decorated with a lions head, at Buttons Coffee House on Russell Street, Westminster, London, and used for literary articles in the 18th century. A letter box in the form of a lions head with open jaws was put up at Buttons for the receipt of contributions to The Guardian [newspaper].
