Heinrich IV, (1933). Portrait of King Henry IV of France and Navarre (1553-1610), the son of Antoine de Bourbon and Jeanne d Albret and husband of Marie de Medici. Henry IV was the first Bourbon monarch. Although a popular king, he was assassinated by Francois Ravaillac, a Roman Catholic fanatic.
