Crystal Palace, London, 20th Century. Designed by Sir Joseph Paxton, the Crystal Palace was originally built in Hyde Park to house the Great Exhibition of 1851. The structure was dismantled and relocated to Sydenham in 1854, where is stood until totally destroyed by a fire in 1936. Fluted cardboard backing held with clips. Supplied ready to hang with sawtooth hanger and rubber bumpers. Spot clean with a damp cloth. Packaged foam wrapped in a card.
