Prince Albert Victor of Wales at Cambridge University, 1883. In University Church - hearing Bishop of Durham; Neville's Court - Staircase D - entrance to the Prince's rooms; in chapel, Trinity College; the Prince going to his rooms with his tutors; at Hall - Trinity Coll.; the Prince in cap and gown...The eldest son of the Prince of Wales, Prince Albert Victor Christian Edward, who will be twenty years of age next January, has entered upon his University studies at Trinity College, Cambridge. His Royal Highness was conducted thither by the Prince of Wales, his father, and by his tutor, the Rev. J. N. Dalton, M.A. of Clare College, on Thursday, the 18th October. Our Illustrations represent the Prince going to his rooms, in Neville's Court, with Mr. Dalton and the College tutor; his first dining in the College Hall, and his attending Divine Worship in the College Chapel, when the sermon was preached by the Right Rev. the Bishop of Durham; with a view of the entrance to his rooms, under the arcade of Neville's Court; and a portrait of his Royal Highness attired in the "nobleman" student's cap and gown'. Wood effect frame, card mounted, 10x8 fade resistant photo print. Overall outside dimensions 14x12 inches (36x31cm). Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang. Biodegradable and made with non-chlorinated gases (no toxic fumes) it is efficient; producing 100 tons of polystyrene can save 300 tons of trees! Prints are glazed with lightweight, shatterproof, optical clarity acrylic (providing the same general protection from the environment as glass). The back is stapled hardboard with a sawtooth hanger attached. Note: measurements provided are estimated outer dimensions, which include both the image and the frame. While we aim to keep sizing consistent, exact dimensions may vary slightly due to differences in print size or production requirements, which may result in a variation in the overall size (up to approximately 2.5cm (1"))
