Paul Kruger, South African politician, c1900. Known as Oom (uncle) Paul, Stephanus Johannes Paulus Kruger (1825-1904) was President of the Transvaal or South African Republic from 1883. In the 2nd Boer War (1899-1900), Kruger was too old and unwell to take an active role in the field and he moved to the Netherlands. Homage to Kruger from Le Petit Journal. (Paris, 2 December 1900)

Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang. Prints are glazed with lightweight, shatterproof, optical clarity acrylic (providing the same general protection from the environment as glass). The back is stapled hardboard with a sawtooth hanger attached.
