Tomas Jordan, (1819-1895), 1920s
General Thomas Jordan. American engineer, born 1819, fought in the war of secession. He reached Cuban shores in March 1869 with 200 men and 2, 000 rifles. Took over from Quesada as the head of the Army in December 1869; he won the battle of the Minas (Mines) on the 1st of January 1870, retired and died 1895.
