Smeatons Eddystone Lighthouse, Devon, c1850. Built on the treacherous Eddystone Rocks by John Smeaton 1n 1756-1759, this was the third lighthouse on the site, 14 miles south of Plymouth, the previous two having been destroyed by storm and fire respectively. Fluted cardboard backing held with clips. Supplied ready to hang with sawtooth hanger and rubber bumpers. Spot clean with a damp cloth. Packaged foam wrapped in a card.
