The Saxon Order of the Crown. The Order of the Rue Crown is a Dynastic order of the Kingdom of Saxony. It is named after the green floral crown of rue of the Coat of arms of Saxony. The order was founded in 1807 by the first King of Saxony, Frederick Augustus I (1750-1827), whose crowned monogram appears in the centre of the medallion. On its reverse the motto of the order PROVIDENTIAE MEMOR
