The Saxon mantle, (1910). From illuminated manuscripts dating from the 11th century, showing a Saxon man wearing the mantle, a sort of cape worn over the tunic. The mantle flowed in graceful folds, the mode of fastening was either in the centre of the chest or upon one or both shoulders. Fluted cardboard backing held with clips. Supplied ready to hang with sawtooth hanger and rubber bumpers. Spot clean with a damp cloth. Packaged foam wrapped in a card.
