King and Court, late 13th-14th century, (1910). Medieval dress from the time of Edward II, (1272-1307)). The Court-pie was a short garment for cold weather. It was circular with a hole in the centre for the head, and was made in two or more colours, hence the term pie or pied. Fluted cardboard backing held with clips. Supplied ready to hang with sawtooth hanger and rubber bumpers. Spot clean with a damp cloth. Packaged foam wrapped in a card.
