Assault Course, 1940-1942, (1943)
Assault Course, 1943. Training was provided for commandos, brigade groups in the assault role, formations in follow up and the RAF. The conduct of war, and the technology of warfare, had changed greatly since the Great War of 1914-1918. It was, therefore, a time of experimentation, innovation, evaluation and redesign. Courses were held from July 1943 to March 1944. From Combined Operations, 1940-1942. [His Majestys Stationery Office, London, 1943]
