Duke Humphreys Library, c1902. Duke Humfreys Library is the oldest reading room in the Bodleian Library at the University of Oxford. Duke Humfreys Library is named after Humphrey of Lancaster, 1st Duke of Gloucester, a younger son of Henry IV of England. Oxford built Duke Humfreys Library as a second story to the Divinity School in 1450-80. It is used as Hogwarts library in the Harry Potter series of films.
