St. Katherines Hospital - The Brothers Houses in 1781, (c1872). The Royal Hospital and Collegiate Church of St. Katharine by the Tower was a medieval church and hospital near the River Thames in the City of London. It was founded next to the Tower of London in 1147, and was the home of three brethren (or brothers), and three sisters. It was demolished in 1825 to build St Katharine Docks.
