The Prince of Wales in India: palace built in two months by the Maharajah of Cashmere for the Prince of Wales, at Jummoo [Jammu], 1876. The future King Edward VII is the guest of Ranbir Singh of Jammu and Kashmir. On the summit above Jummoo stands a huge building, only roofed a few hours before, which looked like a railway station. It was built expressly for the Prince's reception, carpeted and hung with shawls, pictures, and mirrors'. From "Illustrated London News", 1876
