Paris fashions for March, 1870. 1. Toilette de soiree of green gaze de Chambery, the under jupe trimmed...with perpendicular biais of green satin, bordered on each side with white blonde lace...The low corsage is trimmed at the upper part with bouillonnees of lace...The coiffure is composed of a wreath of tea-roses. 2. Robe a traine of dahlia-coloured satin, the corsage basquine which falls square in front, and having a plaited postilion behind, is edged with velvet...bordered with deep lace. The velvet revers are partially veiled with black lace; and loose sleeves, flounced at the ends, are trimmed with lace and velvet to match the corsage...3. Robe de chambre in grey taffeta, trimmed with violet velvet, and having cascades of white lace falling from the top of the corsage to the bottom of the skirt. The large open sleeves, which terminate in a point, are trimmed with lace...4. Robe a traine of maize-coloured satin, having a flounce at the bottom of the jupe partially covered with another deeper flounce with lace heading...The high corsage is trimmed with lace to simulate a berthe, and the sleeves terminate in black lace flounces. Wood effect frame, card mounted, 10x8 fade resistant photo print. Overall outside dimensions 14x12 inches (36x31cm). Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang. Biodegradable and made with non-chlorinated gases (no toxic fumes) it is efficient; producing 100 tons of polystyrene can save 300 tons of trees! Prints are glazed with lightweight, shatterproof, optical clarity acrylic (providing the same general protection from the environment as glass). The back is stapled hardboard with a sawtooth hanger attached. Note: measurements provided are estimated outer dimensions, which include both the image and the frame. While we aim to keep sizing consistent, exact dimensions may vary slightly due to differences in print size or production requirements, which may result in a variation in the overall size (up to approximately 2.5cm (1"))
