Junkers G.38 plane, 1920s, (1932). The G.38 was a German four-engined transport aircraft which flew commercially in Europe before World War II. It was the largest land plane in the world at the time, and had a unique flying wing design, with passengers sitting in the wings enjoying a panoramic view. From " Die Eroberung Der Luft", (The Conquest of the Air), cigarette card album produced by the Garba ty cigarette factory, 1932. Eugene and Moritz Garba ty, who were Jewish, were driven out of business by the Nazis in the late 1930s, and forced to sell their factory which lay empty for over 70 years.
