General Aylmer Hunter-Weston, (1919). Scene from the First World War, 1914-1919: With Staff officers in the communication-trench approach to the Staff headquarters in the Gallipoli peninsula. Lieutenant-General Sir Aylmer Gould Hunter-Weston (1864-1940) was a British Army general who served at Gallipoli and in the very early stages of the Somme Offensive.
