Battle of Mission Ridge, Nov. 25th, 1863 - presented with the compliments of the McCormick Harvesting Machine Company, pub. 1886 (colour lithograph). The Battle of Missionary Ridge was fought November 25, 1863, as part of the Chattanooga Campaign of the American Civil War. Ulyssees S. Grant (1822-85) led the Union forces to victory over Braxton Bragg (1817-76) and the Confederates; Cyrus Hall McCormick (1809 ? 1884)
