Portrait of Sir Marc Isambard Brunel, British engineer and inventor (1769-1849) with drawings and a model of the morticing machine of the Portsmouth blockmaking machine he made with machine builder Henry Maudslay. The blockmaking machine introduced the mass production of ships blocks.
