Professor Faraday lecturing at the Royal Institute before the Prince Consort and the Prince of Wales, 1856, (1901). Michael Faraday (1791-1867) giving a lecture attended by Prince Albert and his son, Prince Albert Edward (future King Edward VII). Faraday was one of the greatest scientists of the 19th century.
