Dr WG Grace, English cricketer, playing for London County Cricket Club, c1899. Regarded as possibly the greatest cricketer of all time, WG Grace (1848-1915) played first class cricket for 44 seasons from 1865 until 1908, representing Gloucestershire, London County Cricket Club, the MCC and England. Mr PF Warner, Middlesex and England cricketer, c1899. A right-handed batsman, Pelham Plum Warner (1873-1963) played for Oxford University, Middlesex and England during a career lasting from 1894 until 1920. He scored 29, 028 runs with 60 centuries. His 15 Test caps included 10 matches as captain, regaining the Ashes in Australia in 1903-1904. After retiring, Warner served as England's tour manager on the infamous Bodyline tour of Australia in 1932-1933 and later went on to become President of the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC).
