The arrest of Camille Desmoulins, 31st march 1794 (1882-1884). Camille Desmoulins (1760-1794) was a French journalist and politician who played an important role in the French Revolution. He became a close associate of Georges Danton and shared his downfall at the hands of Maximilien Robespierre. Both were arrested and executed by guillotine in 1794 during the Reign of Terror.
