Prize Shorthorns at the Royal Agricultural Society's show, Canterbury, 1860. Class 2, Malachite, Mr. Jonathan Peel... a dark roan, nearly eighteen months old; Class 1, Royal Butterfly, Lieut.-Col. Towneley...nearly three years old, and three of his produce were entered at the Canterbury show; Class 5, Wood Rose, Mr. Henry Ambler...about two years and three months old, and a dark roan. Her crops are one of her most taking points; and she has...a nice open head and plenty of good thick flesh; Class 4, Rosette, Mr. Richard Eastwood...She was bred by Mr. Wetherell, the celebrated auctioneer...and is very little more than four years old, but with most wonderful development for her age'. Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang. Biodegradable and made with non-chlorinated gases (no toxic fumes) it is efficient; producing 100 tons of polystyrene can save 300 tons of trees! Prints are glazed with lightweight, shatterproof, optical clarity acrylic (providing the same general protection from the environment as glass). The back is stapled hardboard with a sawtooth hanger attached. Note: To minimise original artwork cropping, for optimum layout, and to ensure print is secure, the visible print may be marginally smaller
