Wellington Arch, Entrance to the Green Park, London, c1915. View of the Wellington Arch, a triumphal arch in central London designed by Decimus Burton and built 1826-1830. Also known as Constitution Arch or the Green Park Arch, it originally stood at the entrance to Green Park. It was moved to its present position in 1882-1883. The sculpture of the quadriga, (an ancient four-horse chariot), designed by Adrian Jones, has been mounted on it since 1912. Postcard
