Lamoral, Count of Egmont (1522-1568) and Philip of Montmorency, Count Hoorn (1518-1568), were two popular Dutch Protestant leaders who were publicly beheaded by the Spanish rulers of the Netherlands in Brussels on 5 June 1568.
