Strand Lane and the Entrance to the Roman Bath, c1935. The Old Watch House, also known as St Clements Watch House, and Roman Bath in Strand Lane near the River Thames in Westminster, London. Behind the railings is the site of a 17th-century cistern, erroneously thought to be a Roman bath, that fed the fountains at nearby Somerset House.
