Santiago Rusinol and Prats (Barcelona, ??1861-Aranjuez, 1931), Spanish painter, writer and playwright in Catalan language. He traveled to Paris in 1889, where he lived in Montmartre with Ramon Casas and Ignacio Zuloaga, there he became familiar with the symbolism and the painting outdoors. After returning to Spain, he founded in Sitges the workshop-museum Cau Ferrat, and frequents social gatherings in Barcelona at Els Quatre Gats
