Revue du Quintidi, 1800 or 1801, (1921). First Consul Napoleon Bonaparte (1769-1821) takes part in a military review at the Place du Carrousel in Paris. The Quintidi was the fifth day of the decade (ten-day week) in the French Republican Calendar. The Quintidi review took place every ten days. Prints are glazed with lightweight, shatterproof, optical clarity acrylic (providing the same general protection from the environment as glass). The back is stapled hardboard with a sawtooth hanger attached.
