The belongings of the recently deceased spill out of a trunk in the foreground. The work is said to have been inspired by the novel " Guy Mannering" by Sir Walter Scott. Prints are glazed with lightweight, shatterproof, optical clarity acrylic (providing the same general protection from the environment as glass). The back is stapled hardboard with a sawtooth hanger attached.
