Jack Hobbs, c1923, (1935). English cricketer Sir John Berry Hobbs (1882-1963) played for Surrey from 1905 until 1934 and played 61 test matches for England. On 8 May 1923 he made his hundredth century in first-class cricket. He ended his career having scored 61, 760 runs, with 199 centuries.
