The Old Room at Evans s. (1881). Interior at Evanss Hotel and Supper Rooms at King Street in Covent Garden, London. Originally known as the Thomas Archer House, it was built by Thomas Archer in 1712. In the early nineteenth century, Evanss was an entertainment venue for music and singing, the type of entertainment which later evolved into music hall.
