Mutiny on Henry Hudsons ship, 1611 (c1880)
Mutiny on Henry Hudsons ship, c1880. English navigator Henry Hudson was set adrift in a boat together with his son and seven others after the crew of his ship the Discovery mutinied in Hudson Bay. Hudson had wished to continue his explorations of the region but his crew had had enough of the deprivations of the Arctic and wanted to return home. None of Hudsons party was ever seen again.
