Moorish calvalry under Lusius Quietus fighting against the Dacians, (1902)
Moorish calvalry under Lusius Quietus fighting against the Dacians, (1902). Detail of Trajans Column in Rome which was raised by Apollodorus of Damascus at the order of the Senate. It is located in Trajans Forum, built near the Quirinal Hill, north of the Roman Forum. Completed in 113 AD, the column is carved in low relief with a narrative of the emperor Trajans two campaigns in Dacia (modern Romania).
