Filming " City of Play", 1928, (1935). Actor and crew during shooting of a drama film at the Gainsborough film studios in London, notice the microphone above the actors head. " City of Play" (1929) was directed by Denison Clift, produced by Michael Balcon, and starred Chili Bouchier, Patrick Aherne and Lawson Butt. It was made partly in sound.
