Louis Satchmo Armstrong (c1898-1971), American jazz trumpeter and singer. Armstrong was a major influence on the development of jazz as a popular form of music in the 1920s. A virtuoso performer on the trumpet or as a vocalist, he was instrumental in the growth in importance of the soloist in jazz. His nickname of Satchmo was short for Satchelmouth, a reference to the large size of his mouth

Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang.
