The lack of genitalia is thought to be a reflection of the belief that the pahraoh was the primordial god, both a mother and father to people. The statue was erected at Karnak at the temple courtyard build by Akhenaten, next to the temple of Amun-Ra. Country of Origin: Egypt. Culture: Ancient Egyptian.
