Dog and cat meat butcher in Paris, Franco-Prussian War, 1871. During the war Paris was under siege from September 1870 to late January 1871. Food was scarce and anything edible was considered for consumption including cats and dogs, and the zoo animals from the Jardin des Plantes. From a sketch sent out of Paris by balloon post. 14"x12" (38x32cm) Modern Frame
Wood effect frame, card mounted, 10x8 archival quality photo print. Overall outside dimensions 14x12 inches (38x32cm). Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang.
