Boadicea, Queen of the Iceni. (Animating the Britons to defend their country against the Romans), (mid 19th century). Boudicca (c25-62 AD), queen of the British Celtic Iceni tribe, led an uprising against the occupying forces of the Roman Empire in 60 or 61 AD.
